U11 Hockey Tour
The U11 A and B hockey teams travelled to York for their hockey tour. Their first game was against St Peter's which produced two very strong teams. Although the U11 A team did not manage to score, they showed some excellent defence and worked very hard in their short corners to clear the ball on several occasions. The U11B team had a fantastic goal, scored by Esme, to finish a very close match with a 2-1 loss. The girls had a lovely sing along on their journey to Boggle Hole in Scarborough where we stayed the night.
A lovely early morning on the beach kick started day 2. Saturday's fixture was against Scarborough College, another very strong team. Selena made some excellent saves, awarding her player of the match. The girls were all in great spirits and played so lovely as one team, cheering each other on and displaying excellent sportsmanship. Well done Year 6!
